Nelson is a trial lawyer who graduated from St. Edward’s University with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Southern Methodist University in 2020. Growing up in Tomball, Texas, in a modest community where people worked just down the road in gas, construction and technology gave Nelson an understanding of integrity and an enduring work ethic that guides his practice to this day.

Nelson’s experience includes fiduciary litigation, corporate and partnership disputes, MDL litigation and handling complex commercial development issues. He has extensive experience involving numerous areas of law including: the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act; commercial leases; contracts; corporate formation and governance; healthcare advocacy; products liability; first party and third party insurance defense; premises accidents and personal injury trial law.

Nelson’s practice is primarily focused on commercial civil litigation for automobile dealerships. While he is not advocating for the firm’s clients, Nelson enjoys Formula 1 racing, tennis, grilling, fishing and shooting sports.
