Philip grew up Houston and has been practicing law here since 1996. He graduated from South Texas College of Law summa cum laude, Golden Gate University in San Francisco with a Masters in Tax and Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. He also has a CPA license and worked for major accounting firms prior to going to law school. Philip has over 25 years of experience in personal injury and business litigation including trade secret theft, fiduciary disputes, fraud, negligence, Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and breach of contract cases. Philip also has 20 years of experience as general counsel in mortgage banking handling numerous business matters. He oversaw litigation, federal and state regulator examinations, consumer complaints, employment matters, contract negotiations, and entity structuring and reporting. Philip also handled transactions and disputes with national and regional banks, loan servicers, federal agencies such as HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, title companies, builders and realtors. Philip has two sons and a daughter.
